10. On Universal Music Day, what is the most annoying musical instrument in your opinion?

One that is played badly, including voice. If the instrument is played correctly, IMO, they all sound beautiful.

8. Have you (a family member or a friend) ever thrown anything out and then found out it was worth a lot of money?

No, thank goodness. I did manage to stop a friend from using a bottle of champagne that they received for their wedding to make mimosas...it was a $200 bottle (and this was 25 years ago.)

6. What’s the first recipe you ever learned to cook? Were you taught at school, by a family member, or did you try it yourself?

I learned to cook southern fried steak and gravy from my maternal grandmother. Mine has never been as good as her's was.

When I was in college, I won some academic awards, but not since then.

I would say it is about 60-40 texts/emails to calls. Doctors/dentists tend to call or do both, K's oldest brother is a technophobe, so calls, my brother is about 50-50, and I have a friend who is in her 70's that likes to call. I am firmly on the text/email side.

My wedding gown was lace.

Oh, most of the places we have visited in Europe I remember fondly. Some we have repeated (Paris, Milan, Florence, Rome, Madrid) and some we would like to (London, Aix en Provence, Madrid again.)

28. What is your favourite writing instrument (pencil, rollerball, fountain pen or something else)?

I like a good fine point pen that does not smudge.

29. Are you a fan of opera?

I have enjoyed it when we have been, but is to something I seek out.

Not really, that I can think of anyway. My grandmother loved Elvis and her favorite songs were "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and "Blue Christmas."

I remember him in both I Dream of Jeanie and Dallas, but not really anything else.

Nothing more than a door prize that I can recall. I won some things in school for academic excellence and won something for a 5k run, but nothing where I bought a ticket or was the 6th caller...
