The last few days
Sep. 18th, 2021 08:22 am16. If you have a significant other, how long have you been together?
We have been together over 35 years and married over 30.
17. Have you ever been a part of a wedding party?
A few. My own, then my husband's friend's later that year and then much later as unofficial wedding planner and enforcer in a couple of co-worker's wedding.
18. What song are you listening to at the moment?
Nothing at the moment; I like my quiet in the AM.
Spent a couple of days in ATL (it was rainy due to the tropical storm, but at least not terribly hot.) We drove , stayed in a stand alone vacation rental in an up and coming neighborhood, had takeout for lunches and one dinner and sat on a covered patio for the other dinner. We were masked at both indoor things we did, so I feel like we remained safe.
We saw the Van Gogh immersion. I enjoyed it, but probably know a bit more and have seen a bit more Van Gogh than 95% of the people there. It was still fun and reminded me of some things I had forgotten, but I do wish they had projected onto the ceiling instead of the floor (both would have been best.) We also visited the Aquarium and that was fun. The new shark exhibit was interesting and it is amazing to have them swimming around you and over your head.
The biggest high-light was just getting away, but it was almost beat by the amazing food. BBQ for dinner take-out the first night (it was so good, we stopped by on the way out to bring some home,) falafel for lunch, and a beautiful hand-made pasta restaurant for dinner the second night-that we could walk to. I love to cook (as told by having to stop at a huge Mexican mercado in Greenville on the way back to get chiles and tortillas,) but it is nice to take a break and enjoy someone else's talent.
