13. Have you ever volunteered to do something long-term?

Yes, when we lived in DC, we delivered food to people's homes every Saturday morning for a few years and on one of our temporary assignments I ran the farmer's market pick-up for a few years (until we came back here full time.)

What a great way to volunteer.

The first was very rewarding, but sad when people passed away (all had diseases or children with diseases which made them house bound.)

The second was enjoyable; I love food and interacting with the farmers was great.
