Yes. When we remodeled five years ago, I made a list of everything in the kitchen and then based on the cabinet plans, figured out where it would all go. It is not perfect, but is clutter free. I have pull outs on either side of the cooktop for oils/spices and utensils, plus have an entire wall of shelving (perpendicular to the main kitchen area) that I use as a pantry.
