lizzybuffy20085. Do you have scanners or an App in your local grocery supermarket so you can scan your shopping yourself and pay at the automated checkout? Do you use them?
Yes, we have self checkout and that is my preferred way of checking out.
6. Sheets and blankets or a duvet with a cover (or some other combination)?
In the summer we have a duvet, a down blanket, and a top sheet. K uses the sheet and the down blanket and I just draw the sheet over my torso. In winter we have all that plus another blanket. As you can tell, K gets cold and I run hot.
7. It’s World Beard Day - do you know anyone with a beard?
A couple of men that I swim with have them, but K does not (too fine of hair and ball spots on his cheek.)
8. In the US it’s Grandparent’s Day. How many grandparents were still around when you were growing up? Have you any special memories of your grandparents?
No contact with my paternal grandparents and only occasion contact with my maternal grandfather (he died when I was less than 10.) We lived with my maternal grandmother, so I was very close with her until she passed when I was 16. She was a stabilizing influence and I am much more like her than my mother.
