9. In 1899 P. L. Travers was born. Have you ever read her books about Mary Poppins?

I have not read the books; only saw the movies.

10. Have you ever ridden a horse?

I have ridden twice. The first time was one of those riding through the mountain-tour kind of things and my horse was old and did not want to do what it was supposed to. The second was with a friend of my MIL's. It was her own horse and much more fun; although I think I am a bit allergic to them.

Old horses want an easy life, which doesn't make for an interesting ride (although on a tour I suppose they want them to behave, so it's safer).
