lizzybuffy200823. It's the UN Spanish Language Day - can you speak any Spanish? Did you learn Spanish at school?
Sadly, no. I am woefully monolingual, but trying. I took a couple of semesters of French and have been doing Duolingo every day for years. I can read it pretty well and am getting better art hearing it. Speaking, for me is still the hardest.
24. At what age did you learn to drive? Did you learn to use a manual (stick shift) or an automatic car? If you own a car, how old is it?
I learned pretty late for the US; 21. I was transferred in my job to a location that could not be accessed by subway, so had to learn (K tough me, sink or swim method.) I learned on an automatic, but learned and converted to a stick shift when I was 31 (again sink or swim and taught by K.) We currently have 3 three cars. I mainly drive either the Chevy Cavalier (we inherited it and it is almost 30 years old) or the Porsche Boxster (we bought it preowned and it is now 18 years old.) K drives a Toyota Corolla Hybrid that we bought new last year (it is an automatic.) We plan to pare down to one car once K retires.
