7. William Wordsworth was born in 1770 and is probably best known for his poem "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" which mentions "A host, of golden daffodils'. Are there daffodils flowering where you live (were they early, or are they late)?

We are just past daffodils here and have moved on to tulips. It has been a good year for bulbs!

8. Pablo Picasso died on this day in 1973 at the age of 91. Have you ever seen a Picasso artwork in real life?

I have seen many Picassos in RL. I have to say, I am not much of a fan. His early works (I saw some in Paris) were very different; IMO much more coherent than his mid life and later work. I would love to see "Gnerica" in person though.

I must admit that Picasso is not one of my favourites, although I can appreciate what he and Georges Braque were trying to do (and it was so different at the time) but there are only a few of the cubist paintings I like. I also think Picasso was a really unpleasant person...
