23. National Chia Day - Chia seeds have many health-boosting properties including helping to lower blood pressure, to balance blood sugar levels and are packed with fibre. Have you ever eaten Chia seeds?

I am sure that I have, but not sure when. They are not really something I come across often, not like flax seeds.

Chia seeds are often used to thicken things like a protein shake or a pudding. Vegan cookery uses them a lot.
