19. International Read to Me Day - did you have family members read to you when you were small? Have you ever had to read aloud to a large number of people?

I am sure that I did, but honestly have no real memory of it. I did read from an early age and remember having books that came with records (45s,) where you read along with the record and when it was time to turn the page, a chime sounded.

I have not read to a large number of people.

My kids had books in tape that worked in a similar way to the records. They really enjoyed having the autonomy of ‘reading’. They also liked audio books which was great and gave us the night off!
