Nov. 11th, 2018 07:39 am1. What was the first type of cheese you ever ate?
This is scary for my foodie brain to process now, but up until I was 10 or so, I thought I did not like cheese, so either my first taste of cheese was on a Wendy's cheeseburger that was supposed to be a hamburger or from one of those little plastic packs that had a tub of spreadable cheese with crackers and a red spreader. Either way, processed "American" cheese.
2. What was the type of cheese you ate most recently?
Whipped ricotta with farro and roasted carrots.
3. What is the most unusual cheese you ever ate?
I honestly cannot remember, I have enjoyed some stinky, runny cheeses over the years on cheese boards in Europe and not really known what I was eating.
4. What is your favorite cheese?
At the moment, for just sitting and eating; Manchego.
5. What is your favorite dish made with cheese?
This is a hard one, but I guess a really nice cheese fondue. My husband has made it for my birthday a couple of times, plus I have had very good ones at a Swiss restaurant in San Francisco and a restaurant in Bern, Switzerland.
