29 – Lemon Juice Day: Is lemon juice a staple in your kitchen? Do you use it for non-culinary purposes? Do you have a favourite lemon-flavoured food or beverage?

It is. I always have lemons on hand for zesting into foods and using the juice in foods and drinks. I don't really use them for non-culinary things. I love a good lemon bar or lemon tart.

It is! Although not as much as it used to be. I make tuna sandwiches (tuna salad, really) that I include lemon juice in the mix per my mom's recipe, and I have this green chili mac and cheese I make that calls for a bit of lemon juice. Actually, that one might be lime (I have both)... I don't make that as much anymore though, because my fiance doesn't eat spicy food. I diffuse lemon oil which you can also use to make a cleaner, but I don't really use that or lemon juice, so nothing non-culinary. I've always liked lemon meringue pie!
