23 – Peanut Butter and Chocolate Day: Match made in heaven or something to be avoided at all costs?

Match made in heaven! I do not have them often, but I love peanut butter cups! Russell Stover used to make holiday themed ones that were better than Reese's but I have not seen them around for years.

24 – Everybody Deserves a Massage Week: The third week of July is Everybody Deserves a Massage Week. Do you go for regular (or occasional) massages? Have you tried different types of massage: Swedish, Shiatsu, deep tissue, etc.? Do you have a favourite?

No, although I should. With all of the exercise, it would help some of my aches and pains. I have tried many different kinds; I prefer a medium intensity Swedish or Shiatsu, not a big fan of deep tissue. I have had a couple of hot stone massages that were nice.

Busy weekend that ended up kind of crappy. Had my gyno appointment with a new doctor on Friday. I liked him, so that was good thing. Saturday we had our last show of the 2022-2023 season at the theater we have season tickets to. We had a lovely dinner beforehand at out favorite restaurant and then went to the show. It was "Ain't Too Proud" about The Temptations and was quite good with some really great voices. We had a lovely night in our regular hotel and then ran some errands before heading back home.

Sadly, mid morning we got a message that our fridge's set point had changed. I assumed we had had a power outage and it would be ok; nope. Got home and it seemed to be on, but the control panel would not work. We tried the online diagnostics/resets and that did not work either, plus by then we could tell, it was not keeping cold anymore. Luckily we have 2 refrigerator drawers and a freezer downstairs. I took all of the fresh veggies out of the drawers and put things like milk, chicken, and cooked food in those. Took all of my flour out of the freezer downstairs and put it in a cooler to make room for things that needed to be relocated. We then went to get some dry ice and that is in the fridge keeping things cooler that will not go bad if above 40F and the veggies are in a cooler with ice packs. Luckily, there was a cancellation, so a repair person will be able to come out today to at least assess the problem.
