31 – Web Designer Day: We all visit various websites every single day of the year. What are "features" on some websites that really annoy you? What features do you appreciate the most on well-designed websites?

I block pop-up windows, so really dislike it when something I actually want to see is a pop up and I have to go and turn that off for that website. The constant cookie reminders...ugh....I also find it extremely annoying when there is something in the middle of an article that has nothing to do with said article. Lastly (although, I have more,) at clothing sites, when an item comes in various colors, just show the thumbnail in one color with dots beneath to show the other colors. I hate scrolling through page after page of the same thing in a 142 colors.

Your pet peeves about websites are very similar to mine. I hate those sites where there's so much 'stuff' on the page you can't read what you went there for! Lately, I see those inserts that are 'behind' the text and the text has a gap in it so as you scroll you see the background ad. It's so annoying as the pop-up blockers don't see those, but they are incredibly frustrating.
