30 – Loomis Day: Mahlon Loomis, a humble dentist, revolutionized the world when he created the “wireless telegram” in 1886. How different would your life be without wi-fi, TV, or radio?

Growing up without TV would have been very different for me, now not as much. I suppose if we had never had those things we would read more and spend more time outside. I do believe, for me personally, that those things enrich my life, but like other things can be addictive and isolating.

True - if you’ve never had TV and WiFi you wouldn’t miss it. I do think it’s important to have time that you aren’t staring at a screen. I don’t have any screens before lunchtime or after 10pm (if I can) and that works for me :)
