27 – Sunscreen Day: Do you use sunscreen regularly? Do you use it on its own, or do you buy other skin care products that include a sunscreen?

My face moisturizer and base make-up (when I wear it) both have sunscreen in them. I will put on extra if I am going out to garden or walk/hike after 10AM and of course on the rare occasions I go to a beach.

I always buy moisturiser with sunscreen - and we don’t get that much sun here :)

While my daytime moisturizer contains a sun screen, and has every since it became a thing to include it in most of them, I'm not good at using it otherwise. For which, let me say quickly, I am paying dearly now in my dotage. If I know I'm going to be out for a long time and I'm not going to be covered, I'll usually put some on if I have it. But I'm really not as good about that as I should be.

I would not be as good without it automatically being in the moisturizer. I am somewhat lucky that any sun damage I have is limited to my body and not my face. I grew up in Georgia in the 70's and 80's and back then, if you were not tanned by April, something was wrong...
