lizzybuffy200820 – Volunteer Recognition Day: Do you do any volunteer work? Do you belong to any organizations or use any services that are very dependent on volunteers, even if you don't do any volunteering yourself? In some places, students are required to do some volunteer work for school credits. Do you think this is a good idea?
I have in the past; delivery prepared food/groceries to families living with terminal illness. It was incredibly sad, but rewarding. I think it is important for children/young adults to understand that there are people that need assistance or things that need to be done that require being a good citizen and volunteering. I am not sure I thing requiring it is a good thing vs showing them the need and then letting them come to it on their own.
