8 – International Women’s Day (March is also Women’s History Month): This was first celebrated in 1909, have you ever celebrated it? How do you think women should be honoured on this day?

I am so sick of these arbitrary days/months/holidays when every day of the year, we as women are undervalued, underpaid, belittled, treated as imbeciles and/or children, unable to control our own bodies or decisions about them, abused, and objectified. You want to celebrate women, start treating them as humans!

Very good point although at least it’s a time to educate children about women who are forgotten/overlooked and educating them young is a start to empowering girls and educating boys?
