2 – Optimist Day: Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist?

I consider myself an optimist, although the past 7 years have tried that optimism at times. When you see and hear about all of the evil and awful in the world, it can be very hard to maintain, but I do what I can and try to remain positive.

I think it’s OK to have a few pessimistic thoughts every now and again - as long as generally you can see the positives.
