Jan. 15th, 2023 08:53 am15 – World Snow Day: Does it snow where you live? If not, have you ever seen snow? If yes, what do you think of snow?
It does, just not a bunch. We usually get a few dustings and then maybe one or two with 5" or more. The south does not deal with snow all that well (still,) so if a bigger snow is expected, the grocery stores are cleaned out and people stay home.
K's birthday dinner went well. I made the cream cheese frosting and decorated the cake early in the day and then took the pizza dough rounds out of their slow rise in the fridge late in the afternoon. I cranked the oven up to 525F for more than an hour, then shaped and topped the pizzas. They were really great. Probably the thinnest, crispiest crust I have ever made (I love the baking steel.) I will try to post a couple of pictures later.
