8 – Winter Skin Relief Day: What is the best skin moisturizer you've tried? Do you use different moisturizers for your face and body? Other than moisturizers, do you have any other tips for keeping your skin feeling and looking healthy during the winter months?

I have used Perricone face moisturizers for many years, but have in the last few months starting switching over to Skinceuticals. I am not quite as good as body lotion. I use a shower activated lotion on swim days, but unless I feel itchy/dry, I tend to forget it other days.

9 – Coming of Age Day: What does coming of age mean to you? What, if any, coming of age ceremonies or rituals are practiced where you live?

In the US there are many COA ages: 16 for driving, 18 for voting, and 21 for drinking. The only ritual I am aware of is getting drunk on your 21st birthday ( I did not.) For me coming of age is a lot less about a number and more about experiences. First job, first serious relationship, first car, first house (mortgage...)

We had our third show and overnight away from home on Saturday. This time it was the musical, "Tootsie." It was enjoyable, but no really memorable songs and some that just would have been better off as spoken dialogue. We did have a lovely dinner at an upscale Asian fusion restaurant that I would like to go back to when we have more time to linger.

I've been using Avon's daytime moisturizer for years, but there are many others that are just as good, and cheaper. Key for daytime is that it contain some sunscreen, which most do by now. Night creams can be richer and don't require sunscreen. I'm pretty good about caring for my face - but not so much about my body in the winter. I will often us regular old Vaseline after I get out of the bath or shower and my skin is still moist. That works nicely and lasts for a couple of days. I hate getting wet when it's cold, so I'm pretty bad about daily moisturizing of my body, in spite of having lots of lotions to do it with. When I'm trying to get or stay warm, I'm in too much of hurry to get my clothes on to want to take time putting something on my skin that is going to make it feel wet and cold even briefly. I find butters (shea butter is good) better than lotions for the dry skin of winter.

I have been using face moisturizer since I was in my teens. I am lucky and have combination skin, so aside from large pores, I don't tend to get dry. I agree that sunscreen is a must. You might try the shower body lotion, it works well and does not leave me feeling greasy.

Is it 21 for drinking everywhere in the US? Over here it’s 18.

Yes, a few years ago. It is updated to the current time and instead of a soap opera, it is a Broadway play. Also, person that has a crush win Dorothy is another actor in the show. That all worked, just some of the songs were meh.

Yes, back in the 80's Reagan blackmailed all of the states into going up to 21. It is insane since you can drive at 16, die for your country (military) and buy a gun at 18, but not have a drink until 21.
