Honestly, my hearing aids. At 6K, they are the most expensive thing I wear every day.
25. What's the last dream you remember?
I had a weird dream the other night, about K and I getting up in the middle of the night and going outside for some reason; it was one of this "lifelike" ones where I was disoriented when I woke up.
26. Name one item you can't throw out, even if it's not really sparking any joy.
I cannot really think of anything; I am fairly ruthless about keeping things I don't need or care for.
It was a horrible week (in the US) and I want to talk about it, but just cannot bring myself to at the moment. I am trying to be hopeful, but the lure of moving to Europe in retirement is starting to take hold.

Date: 2022-06-26 01:58 pm (UTC)I had numerous ear infections as a child that caused scar tissue, plus some hereditary issues made my hearing start to fail in my late 40's. I finally got hearing aids in early 2016 and they have made a big difference.
