May 30 & 31, 2022
May. 31st, 2022 10:40 am30. What takes up too much of your time?
Cleaning! I keep seriously thinking about having someone come in and do it, but I am afraid I would clean before they came, so that they did not think we were pigs...
31. What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
Where is K? I would not do it without him.
It was a busy couple of days; no working out, but lots of cleaning outside. Sunday, I washed the seat cushion covers for the back patio and then put those out with the new pillows (after cleaning the table and chairs,) K put together the new umbrella stand and put the umbrella in it, we smoked ribs and a small brisket, made raw asparagus salad and esquitas, enjoyed some wine out on the patio and watched "Spiderman: No Way Home."
The movie was pretty good, but wayyy too long (almost 2.5 hours.) The first half IMO, was disjointed then kind of dull (I saw a couple of the Tobey McGuire movies, but none of the Andrew Garfield, so did not know who some of the villains were.) It picked up in the second half, ****SPOILER****
when TB and AG showed up, but I was really sad for the way it ended, plus as much as I love Tom Hardy, not sure how I feel about him coming in to these movies. ****END SPOILER****
Monday, we ran to a couple of grocers and then came home and cleaned the front porch and all of the furniture and cushions on it. K said that our next "relaxing" weekend, he will just work instead. Enjoyed some wine on the front porch and had the brisket we did not get to on Sunday, with a spicy roasted cauliflower and potato salad.
Today, things are back to normal; worked out, watered, doing laundry and will go pick up the CSA this afternoon. I hope to make strawberry ice cream and a broccoli salad with avocado dressing.
