lizzybuffy2008April 30. April 30 is "Hairstyle Appreciation Day". How would you describe your hairstyle?
I just recently went back to short hair. I would describe it as a medium pixie cut.
May 1. Is it more or less difficult to be successful in the modern world than it was in the past (10, 50, 100, or 1,000 years ago)?
I think it is much easier. Completely untalented people become rich and famous due to being an "influencer" or reality television. Also, (not so cynical) education is open to everyone, so that can promote success being spread across race, gender, etc.
2. What do you like to do in the spring?
I love the blooming trees and flowers (although allergies, not so much,) so like to take walks and drives to see everything in bloom. I also love the normally sunny, cool days and having the windows open.
Well, we are back from our jaunt west. The drive was not too bad, particularly coming back. We had a nice company dinner on Friday (the food was even decent.) Then Saturday while K was at a meeting, I swam, then went to get pampered. Massage, pedicure, facial, and manicure. It was wonderful!! The first time in over 2 years that I have had 3 of the 4 (I had a pedicure last year.)
After we were both done, we met back at the room and went for lunch and a little light seeing, then came back and I showered and we went to a lovely dinner downtown and then met some of the work folks at this golf gaming place. Overall, it was a nice trip and it was good to be away; although I miss my weekend.
