Mar. 31st, 2022 06:16 am31. Would you rather wake up every morning with $100 (or equivalent in your currency) in your pocket but not know where it came from, or wake up every morning with $50 (or equivalent in your currency) in your pocket and know where it came from?
I am not good with "not knowing," so I would choose the $50 option.
Started off chilly 40's, but had a good swim. The day ended up quite warm low 80's, so I opened the windows and turned off the heat.
For our afternoon treat this week I made a Yogurt Loaf Cake with Coriander and Orange from Milk Street. A lovely, not terribly sweet quick bread that is perfect for afternoon coffee. While there is a Tbl of toasted ground coriander seed, it doesn't hit you in the face.
Also, used the black beans I cooked yesterday to make a sort of black bean-chorizo chili, that was quite good and thankfully did not have to be piping hot. I am not a big fan of soup or stew when it is 80 degrees outside.
We ended up watching an episode of Babylon Berlin. It was good, but I always feel lost and confused by that series.
