Yes, unfortunately. When I was 20, I got a job bartending that many other people wanted. After a shift one afternoon, the cash drawer was short, I got blamed and got fired.
ION: Yesterday was fairly relaxing; went to the market, some of the farmers were set up out front, so was able to get some pork from out favorite purveyor. Also, went by the garden center to look at ground covers to go in the cracks/spaces of the new stone steps.
Enjoyed a Manhattan for cocktail hour with some roasted grapes, burrata and toasted sourdough and then whole wheat couscous pilaf stuffed acorn squash for dinner.
We then watched "Licorice Pizza." Maybe it was the cocktail, but I just didn't get it. Maybe someone needs to explain it to me, but I thought it was an over-the-top mess. One interesting thing, the lead is played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman's son in his first movie role.
