25. Does the modern age make global conspiracies more or less feasible?

It encourages people to believe they exist. The conspiracy theory nuts are everywhere now, about everything and social media just makes it worse.

26. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

Sadly probably something to do with tax code...

Yesterday, was actually quite nice. I felt kind of "not well" in the morning, but went swimming anyway; which kind of helped. Plus, K (my husband) had no breathing issues and very little coughing while swimming, so hopefully he is over this thing we have had.

We had hair appointments in Asheville, so drove over midmorning. Had fun chatting with our stylists and my hair is short (longer pixie) again, so I am happy. We had lunch (Mexican, good, but not the fist choice, because not many places are back open for lunch due to worker shortage,) then drove home.

We had a martini for cocktail hour, leftover wheat berry salad for dinner and then watched "King Richard." It was a good movie, Will Smith will win best actor, not necessarily because it was the best performance of the year, but probably because it was his best performance. You really believed that he was Richard Williams; there was no Will Smith there at all. I did have issues with the story: IMO they tried to gloss over the fact that basically they birthed and bred two children to be tennis stars (and eventually support the family) whether they wanted it or not. They justify it, because "hey, it all worked out in the end and they were/are successful."

It is very similar to what happened with Tiger Woods (although, they were allowed to be kids a bit more.) It reminded me of parents that have children to provide bone marrow or something else to save an existing child...another level of child abuse.
