lizzybuffy200827. Who was your worst teacher/professor? Why?
I've had a few bad ones; luckily I was able to rectify it or someone did, so that it did not hurt me.
First one: When I started college full time, I decided to take Calculus 1 and Physics 1 in the same shot semester. Cal 1 teacher, great, Physics 1, instructor hired last minute to replace someone who left. No teaching experience, first test highest grade was a 22, I dropped and took it in the fall.
Second: Calc 4, Differential Equations started with a Russian instructor that I had trouble understanding and was considering dropping the course. Something happened and he had to return to Russia, his replacement was much better and I went on to get an A.
Third: Head of Biomedical Engineering Department taught Senior Design. Big ego, all tests were low scoring to make hm feel smarter. Divided us into groups of 3 people for final project. I was stuck with 2 people who did nothing (I figured out what we would do, how to do it, ordered the supplies, had it built, wrote the paper, gave the presentation.) When I complained to him that they were not doing anything, he said my only recourse was to take an incomplete (it took everything in me not to tell him to go fuck himself.) Ended up doing it all and getting an A-. Reason for the -, I was the only one that spoke during the presentation...
