I come from the south, specifically Georgia, Coke is it. I rarely drink them anymore, in fact, I cannot remember the last time.
We had a mostly stress free day yesterday. Did a little exercise, got the prime rib in the oven and while prepping the fruit for the pavlova and the mushrooms for a side dish, we listened to Neil Gaimon's reading of A Christmas Carol. Dinner turned out beautifully (although there is enough meat to last for a while) and presents turned out great as well (new phone, yay!!)
Funny thing; I am not one to have the same meal every year, but completely spaced out the fact that we had prime rib last year and even the same wine. Age or pandemic brain, who knows. It was still yummy.
