Nope. I have 3 piercings in my right ear (2 lobe and a helix) and 2 in my left ear (2 lobe.) I got the helix piercing when I turned 50 and it was way worse than I thought it would be. The initial pain was not that bad, but (turn away if squeamish,) I heard the crunch of it going through the cartilage, and it bled quite a bit. I almost passed out. They also take a very long time to heal. I like it, but it was the last one I will ever get.
