Yes. When my husband and I met, he lived in my city, but by the time we started dating, he had moved back to his home town to attend college. We had a LDR for 1 year and 3 months, then I moved up to live with him. Ironically, it happened again when we had been married 10 years and this time lasted 1 year and 2 months. We seem to have made it through 20 and 30 with no more separations though.
