1. Have there been any periods in your life that could be described as being chaotic?
Yes! My first semester (fall) of senior year in college was insane. I was carrying 21 hours (18 in my major of engineering,) 2 design classes (junior and senior, because they screwed up the schedule the prior year,) was working part time, and was president of my local engineering chapter. All I did was go to class, study, and work. I was so stressed that when I came back for spring semester, one of my professors remarked at how much more relaxed I was than in fall. And I quote, "I thought you were going to kill someone..." FYI, I made a 4.0 that semester.

Date: 2021-07-02 12:10 pm (UTC)In Junior there were 4 of us that did the majority of the work, so not too bad, stress wise, but for Senior, it was just me. I came up with the idea, drew the specs, ordered the materials, got the machinist to make the parts that needed to be done, and wrote the report.
The girl in our group never showed up for 1 work session, the guy at least came and watched me work. One day, I had asked the guy to go down to the machine shop while I was at work and meeting with the Juniors; after 4 phone calls (assuring me he was headed right there) I saw him walking past the door to the Junior design room and asked how it had gone...he still had not been. I lost it! I screamed at hime to get the fuck down there and make sure they were working on our part and if they were not, I would kill him. After, I turned around to 11 shocked faces (the juniors) and then apologized that they had to witness my outburst.
