Jan. 13th, 2019 02:02 pm1. Do you have a favorite piece of jewelry? Describe.
About 15 years ago, for my birthday, my husband gave me a new wedding band. It is platinum and diamonds in a leaf motif. I love it! I still wear my old band for exercising and cooking/baking, but the new one when going out.
2. Is there a piece of jewelry that you wear daily? Describe.
My wedding band(s) and last January I had a helix piercing done, so the ring I had made for that. It is a bezel set diamond (from a pair of studs where I lost one) with a white gold hoop.
3. What is the most costly piece of jewelry you own?
My husband bought me a pair of diamond chandelier earrings about 10 years ago. I almost died when I saw the credit card bill...
4. What piece of jewelry would you secretly (or not so secretly) love to own, but do not? Why don't you?
In the real world, a channel set diamond tennis bracelet. I have not yet been able to justify the cost. In the "this will never happen" world. The English Crown jewels; I could seriously rock that scepter!
5. Is there a piece of jewelry you once owned but no longer own? What happened to it?
Lots of costume jewelry, the aforementioned stud, and anything yellow gold. I decided about 20 years ago that I preferred white gold, silver, and platinum.
