Sep. 27th, 2023 11:08 am27 – World Tourism Day: When you visit a new place, do you hit all the main tourist attractions or do you prefer to travel off the beaten path? Do you live in a place that has any famous tourist attractions?
It depends on what the attractions are, but yes if they involve past civilization ruins, museums, churches, estates.
No, not really. I live in a place that tourists come for a yearly storytelling festival, spring and fall NASCAR races (not my thing at all,) to hike the Appalachian Trail and most lately, people come for a dig site that was found some years ago that is on its way to being declared a World Heritage Site..
