Jun. 7th, 2023 10:17 am7 – Global Running Day: Are you, or have you ever been, a runner/jogger? If yes, do you/did you run mostly indoors (treadmill) or outdoors, or both, depending on the weather? What are the biggest differences between running outdoors vs indoors? If you're not a runner, what is your preferred form of exercise (if you have one)?
I have run and do run as part of my exercise routine. In the past, I have done some 5k and 10k races, but it is not my favorite form of exercise. Now, if I do it, it is usually intervals with walking on the treadmill. For me, the major difference of running on the treadmill vs outside is the treadmill helps control your pace, so you don't go out too fast and blow up.
I really prefer to mix my workouts up; walking, running, biking, swimming, lifting, and yoga (I have not done it regularly for a while, but am hoping to get back into it.)
