11. If you were forced to take part in a reality/competition show (e.g. Big Brother, Survivor, Bake Off, etc.), but you could choose which show to be on, what would you pick?

That's easy: "Bake Off" I would not do really well, because I am not the best at making things pretty, but I could hold my own for a couple of shows. I would choose that show because of the lack of personal drama between the contestants.

Tired and sore this morning, but at least slept well. Yesterday was a long swimming day with warm-up, 1000 meters, 500 meters, and then cool down, so 2100 meters total, but thankfully no work out after.

It was also a fairly low key day: I made a peach-ricotta coffee cake and then a tomato gratin for dinner. I finished my book. Even though it is not LOL, it is a good book ("Lessons in Chemistry") and I would recommend it, we also decided to put off watching the penultimate episode of "Better Call Saul" and watched "Sandman" instead. I have not read or listened to the graphic novel, so it is all new to me. Interesting premise and visually stunning so far.

1) What's the weather like where you are right now?

It is partly cloudy, low 80's and a little humid.

2) Has your weather been seasonally appropriate lately, or has it been unusual?

It has been unusual. We normally have a rainy spring and a dry summer, but it flipped this year. We had a dry spring and have had a really wet July and August (so far.)

3) Have you noticed any trends in the weather near you over the past few years?

The only trend is that there is no trend. It does seem to be warmer longer than 15 years ago.

4) Are you worried about climate change?

Yes, as should everyone, but honestly, I have no children and am in my mid 50's, so I should be gone before the worst happens.

5) Are you doing anything to combat climate change?

We try to be frugal with how much we drive, run the AC, etc. We live in an area with lots of trees and we are doing what we can to maintain that (downside, no solar panels for us.) We do plan to remove a large portion of our grass and replace with native plants to help support bees, birds, and other wildlife. We donate clothes and other items to reduce waste and try to maintain a low carbon footprint.
