Not really crazy, but I left home at 19 to move 200 miles away to live with my boyfriend (now husband) while he was finishing his senior year at college. When he graduated, we got married and moved to Boston (another 1000 miles away from what had been my home) for him to go to graduate school. We have lived in many places where the only other person we knew was the other; it served to reinforce our connection to each other.
