October 30th and 31st
Oct. 31st, 2021 08:31 am30. Do you always check the prices of things when you buy groceries?
Pretty much, but as a curiosity. If it is on the list, then that means I need it, so it will get bought. If it is something with choices (a canned good, etc.) then I might pick brand based on price.
31. How many nights per week do you cook dinner at home vs. going out to eat?
On average, I cook or we have leftovers every night of the week. Exceptions to that only happen if we are out of town (our city is not known for its restaurants) or I decide that I want pizza, but do not want to make it myself. I love to cook, but I also love to eat good food out. Unfortunately, I can cook much better than 99% of our local restaurants.
We did have our partial weekend away. The hotel, was a different one than we have stayed at in the past, but a good location and quiet. Dinner Friday night was lovely. The food and drinks were spectacular (with a fall themed drink that I really want to try to figure out how to make at home) and even though we were unmasked inside while eating, we were distanced from other tables and the ventilation was good. The show was mostly good. We definitely liked some parts better than others. We stayed masked the entire time and I have to admit I was a bit unnerved by the crowds, but feel ok now. Saturday morning, we stopped by our favorite bakery and got some things to go, went to the big liquor store to stock up and then went over to some friends' house to visit and have dinner. We got in kind of late (for us,) watched an episode of Stanley Tucci in Italy, while having a cocktail and went to bed.
