28. How long was your longest drive in a car?
When we lived in Albuquerque, we went to visit my brother and sister in-law in San Francisco. On the way there, we took 3 days, stopping at the Painted Desert, the Grand Canyon, and Saint Simion, CA. While there, we decided to stay an extra day, so we took a different route and drove back in 1 day.
We have also driven from ABQ to Knoxville, TN, but in 2 days and ATL to ABQ in 2 days. All of these trips were over 20 years ago and with age has gone my ability to do long car trips...no more, 6 hours is about my max now and I am not a fun person in those last couple of hours.
