About 15 years ago, my mother in-law and her then boyfriend, now husband, came to visit. I had been planning a trip to Spain for a couple of months, so was well versed on the map of Spain. While we were at dinner (40 miles away) and awaiting appetizers, he asked if we were going to Barcelona. I said no, that we did not have the time to get to anything that far North and that we were sticking to the central and southern parts. He said that Barcelona was in southern Spain and I said no that it was not or else we would be going there. This went on until the appetizers arrived with him saying that he knew for sure that it was because he had been there. When the food came, I dropped it. I did not mention it anymore, through dinner, dessert, and the drive back to our house. As soon as I walked in the door, I made a beeline for the map of Spain and said, "see, Barcelona, not in southern Spain," and still he argued saying it was in the southern part of that area...
