March 6th and late Friday Five

6. As a child, who was your favorite relative and why?
My maternal grandmother. She was loving, but completely outspoken, honest, and told great stories and jokes. I think she would have been happy with the way I turned out, even if she did not understand some of my choices.
Friday Five:
1) Where in the entire world would you love to be vacationing right now?
Somewhere warm and sunny. Although, it is the latter here at the moment.
2) Where in your own home country or state would you love to be vacationing right now?
It is too cold to do much outdoor, so I guess it would have to be Memphis or Nashville, since I have only driven through them. Right now, with COVID and me only have vaccinated, it will not happen.
3) Where would you love to vacation later on this year when the weather is different?
I hope to make it to DC in the late spring, but that will be to see a doctor (have not changed gynos since we left) and family. If Broadway opens back in the fall, I would like to go to New York.
4) Where are you likely to vacation this year?
Asheville or Greenville and maybe wherever the US Championships of road cycling and a World Cup cyclocross event are.
5) And next year?
Europe; at this point I really do not care where...
